OUR PERFORMERS
We'll be welcoming Nicholas Galinaitis back from Los Angeles for this one performance!
Jacob Ziegler will also perform – you might remember him from his 2019 Concert in Glen Rock.
Let’s give them both a warm Glen Rock Welcome. It will be an afternoon to remember!
Nicholas Galinaitis is a concert pianist and organist originally from Taneytown, Maryland, who has been living in Los Angeles since 2020. He has been trained by Dr. David Kreider in Westminster, Maryland and Leticia Gomez-Tagle, in Vienna, Austria. He has performed for various venues such as the Los Angeles Breakfast Club in Los Angeles, the “Art For Hearts’ Sake” Concert Series in Baltimore, the Los Angeles AGO Chapter Members’ Recital, as well as various small local venues for performances that were warmly received. He is currently music director at Newport Harbor Lutheran Church in Newport Beach in Orange County, California.
Jacob Ziegler has been actively involved in music for his entire life. He took piano lessons at a young age and played the trumpet for various ensembles at Hereford High School in Parkton, Maryland. He later took organ lessons and served as the organist at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hampstead, Maryland while attending college at Towson University. In 2019, Jacob received his Master of Music degree in organ performance. He is still serving at St Marks and is currently teaching organ lessons at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland. From 2019 to 2021 Jacob gave piano lessons to young students at the EMC Performing Arts Studio in New Freedom, PA. He looks forward to working with anyone who is willing to learn anything about music.
